Like I said, I'm a little late to the party (and apparently so oblivious). A chain bookstore has decided to not stock TEN on their shelves, which is not good. Obviously, its their loss for not stocking the book, but its also its a loss for readers who could have discovered this book by chance and its also a loss for Gretchen being able to reach these readers.
So in response, the clever Ms. McNeil decided to start enlisting The Army of TEN. The whole point is that we spread the word and get people interested and want to read this really great book and get it in other stores. There are various prizes you can win for reaching various Ranks. In fact, just for writing this post, I will have become a Lieutenant. Super easy right?
Tomorrow you can read my blog post about what I thought about this (really great) book. You can check out how to join the ARMY here.
In the mean time, why not check out the synopses and realize that this book is for you.
Goodreads synopses:
And their doom comes swiftly.
It was supposed to be the weekend of their lives—an exclusive house party on Henry Island. Best friends Meg and Minnie each have their reasons for being there (which involve T.J., the school’s most eligible bachelor) and look forward to three glorious days of boys, booze and fun-filled luxury.
But what they expect is definitely not what they get, and what starts out as fun turns dark and twisted after the discovery of a DVD with a sinister message: Vengeance is mine.
Suddenly people are dying, and with a storm raging, the teens are cut off from the outside world. No electricity, no phones, no internet, and a ferry that isn’t scheduled to return for two days. As the deaths become more violent and the teens turn on each other, can Meg find the killer before more people die? Or is the killer closer to her than she could ever imagine?

Good to know! I'll pass on the message (I'm spoiled and my indie is carrying it)
